What better way to give an old luxury car a second life than to turn it into a tank?

Cheap luxury cars seem appealing until you discover what a nightmare they are to maintain. So this YouTube channel in Russia decided it would be a good idea to convert a Bentley Continental GT coupe into a make-shift tank. We fully support this decision.

Though it looks like a Bentley (from the fenders up, anyway), this thing is totally bespoke underneath, with a custom frame and a solid rear axle used to power the tracks. The engine is a V-8, sending power rearwards through a torque converter automatic. Popular Russian YouTube channel AcademeG put the whole thing together, even managing to make the OEM Bentley steering wheel work with the system. Of course, the steering wheel doesn't turn the tracks—instead, the differential is left open, and when the car needs to turn, it applies brakes to the inside track, allowing power to continue flowing to the outside track, rotating the vehicle. It's incredibly cool to see in action:
On the Bentley's maiden run, the tracks decouple from the wheels more than once. But that doesn't stop everyone involved from having the time of their lives. At one point, they nearly mange to get it airborne. Imagine having one of these things and a forest all to yourself? The possibilities are endless.

If you're curious to see how this thing came together, AcademeG has a couple more videos documenting the build process:
