Looks like they might disappear, the channels involved are Animal Planet, Discovery HD, Discovery History, Discovery Home & Health, Discovery Science, Discovery Shed, Discovery Turbo, DMAX, Eurosport1, Eurosport2, Investigation Discovery, Quest and TLC.

Q: What if I am a Virgin Media or BT customer?

A: This situation only affects Sky and NOW TV customers.

Discovery HD is one of my most watched channels mid week channel with some of my favorite shows are on it, Gold Rush, Street Outlaws, Fast n Loud, Diesel Brothers, Ed Stafford, Misfit Garage, Naked and Afraid and Gold Divers to name a few (Gold Divers is particularly funny).

I'm surprised Sky still want to pay the same for their 13 channels as they did 10 years ago and if I was in the market for a new TV provider the Sky would be totally off the table if they don't show Discovery HD.

Looked this morning and its on.

    Quote from the Discovery channel:

"We wanted you to be the first to know that we have reached an agreement, which means all your favourite channels and programmes will be staying on Sky.

We couldn’t have done it without you.

Your support over the past few days has been truly amazing and we look forward to bringing you more of the TV you love in the weeks, months and years to come."
