Its not a super hub from VIRMIN is it the upgrade.
If so it will be best put into modem mode and reatach the router for best results ...................Paul

A workaround would be to ftp your cccam.cfg file from yours to your pc for safe keeping then put his sealion in yourbox then make a backup of the image,
then ftp it to your pc and flash his box with it then put your sealion back in yours

Try connecting your laptop/PC straight to the box without going through the router using a crossover ethernet cable
do you still have your old router you can put back on?
Whats the make and model number of the router?

i put my old router back on the other day and couldnt get an interent connection
my laptop is conneted to dmbox directly all the time since i started ftp

that didnt work so i tried dcc and direct connection ...still nothing
i might try bring the box to mates house nd see if it works there ffs

im connecting to dmbox via usb to rs232 converter cable
-
You don't use one of those cables to ftp Hidden Content
you only use a rs232 cable to flash the box using dreamup if it fails to boot up
I'm sure you have to use a ethernet crossover cable to connect pc directly to the box
You use a normal straight through ethernet cable to connect pc to router which in turn has a straight through ethernet cable going from the router to the box
or connect to box using your pc wireless network card to connect to box via router
