    3/8'' tap washer

    ok guys im after the inner hole size of a 3/8'' tap washer
    the reason why i want to know is i need a replacement part, drain
    valve washer for a lawnmower carb and they dont sell them anymore
    only the drain valve kit for which i dont need

    i have stripped it down the the seal washer is perished i cant get a proper
    measurement

    ????? may be just cant remember if the petrol rots rubber but something like should have the size you need

    so long as the centre is a tight fit around the pin thing it should be fine may be i think????

    i did come across them earlier,i think il be able to get away with 3/8'' washer
    just the inner hole i need to find out cos theres a plunger that goes thru it
    and it and the hole dont want to be bigger then the plunger thickness

    Well measure the thickness of your plunger then!
    Is it a Vernier guage I think you use for that?

    its a tapered plunger diablo,i cant find my vernears or mic atm
    ive made a plug guage by using 2mm drill bit,2.5mm drill bit,and a 3mm drill bit
    to see if i can judge the size of the hole



    feck it il call into a plumbers shop termoz and get a 3/8'' washer they should be cheep enuf
