    Remove plugins

    what is the best way to totally remove plugins,(dm600) can see the plugin in tuxbox but is the plugin installed in other folders?

    I would have thought the remote would remove them, and this would take them out of the folder !!

    in the plugin menu only gives the option of "enable move,,,,,,,,rename,,,,,,color buttons"

    try ftp ing into the plugins folder (flash fxp or dcc)and delete them from there ,never really tried it myself

    Depends on whether the image you're using is SquashFS or JFFS2 format, m8.

    Plugins are usually in /lib/tuxbox/plugins folder. So FTP into the box, navigate to that folder, then try deleting the plugins you want rid of. Each plugin will have 2 files, ending in .so and .cfg extensions.

    If you get a message that 0 files were deleted, and you still see the files there, then it's a SquashFS image. This means it's compressed and Read-Only on ALL folders except /tmp and /var (and all subfolders under /var)

    If that's the case, get back and I'll tell you a cool trick I learned back in the old SquashFS Commando 9 days, LOL!

    found an uninstall folder in var\etc but couldn't get owt to work so i just ininstalled everything with totalfootball in the title....cheers boys
