    Freecom DVB USB

Does anyone know how to get the pay channels on this type of receiver?
I would be most grateful if someone could point me in the right direction.

    Re: Freecom DVB USB

If you really want Top-Up TV then I have heard it can be done by using a Phoenix card reader along with ProgDVB and the Poor Mans CAM plug in. You will need to install the BDA drivers for the Freecom stick too.

Oh and, of course, you will need a valid paid-up subscription card to put into the reader too.

Are you sure it's worth the effort (especially now that TUTV Anytime is starting)

I have bought one too (quite pricey too) and used it a couple of times and never used it since. A waste of money. Like everyone said who have bought one it is nothing but problem after problem. Mine heats up, I mean gets really HOT Hidden Content
