    Bosch Router - wood burring

I've just bought a decent Bosch 1300 ACE Router. Having done a bit of practice on scrap wood, (redwood) I get a lot of burring, which looks a right mess and doesn't clean up with sandpaper. I've tried slower, faster, shallower, new bits, with no improvement.

    Help.

    that could be 1001 things
    however typically

    type of wood
    speed
too deep a cut or cutting off too much in one run
wood not clamped tight enough [vibration whilst cutting]
    crap tool
    blunt tool
    naff baerings not running true
    bent shaft.

i'd plumb for it being the wood
    try another type

    if it still does it

    take it back

Excellent, some I hadn't thought of there, especially the vibration one.

Thanks man, I'm off to the shed....
