    Lightbulb Re: radiator

    tools required

    ajustible wrench SCREWFIX part 2400
radiator bleed valve SCREWFIX part 16909
radiator 14mm allen key usually RADIATOR SPANNER”, part 11467
    PTFE tape
hose pipe to remove water to outside

shut down all other radiator valves in the house so to reduce exess water leakage have a lot of shallow containers ready and a few old towel. shut down power to boiler now find your drain valve if fitted will be at lowst point in system

    Hidden Content looks like this

    once drained down
undo one of the old valves using a adjustable wrench , be quick as you undo it water will start to leak once fully undone place containers under open end and try and catch as much water as possible then open bleed valve and more water will come out of radiator
finaly tip radiator slightly and prop it up at bottom rermove other old valve from radiator then you may need to remove the old valve fittings from the radiator not easy job u may need ato apply heat from blowtorch if they have been in years .

NEXT HARD PART IS IF SHINNY NEW TRVS IS TO REMOVE OLIVES COMPRESSED ON TO PIPE easy if you by one of these
