    The Wish List

Requests for new features in dBox2 images

I'll kick off with this one:

My subbed 2110c on VM software has a great option in Settings > Audio and Visual

Audio Description (if available): ON or OFF

This option would be a godsend for dBox2 images- either in the Audio menu, or in Extras

The info to switch this feature globally must exist in the stream; is it possible?

    Cheers- AL Hidden Content

that is in the cvs it has to be enabled i think . nitr8 coded it so it remembered our selected audio channel.

it was in the commando images.

i would like to see software code activation on images so we garanteed feedback instead of hanging about for it of the leeches

    Re: The Wish List

I don't remember seeing this mentioned during C9 dev, NJ- but I did see it listed as a feature in Xenfan's Andromeda 1.4 and 2.0 image release notes.

I queried it on one of the Feedback threads somewhere, but it turned out that this is on a Channel by Channel basis- not really what I'm suggesting, m8.

To be able to switch AD OFF globally would be wonderful. Particularly when you're timer-Recording something!!

It's one of the wish-list items for CF2- and vibrations seemed very positive that it is indeed possible to achieve.

    Cheers- AL

    @Al

just set your recording settings to record all audio tracks and then change via Green Button once you play the recording

It's not really for Recording at all- I was fibbing. It's for 'er indoors, who has the memory span of an amoeba, and can never remember how to turn the commentary off, LOL!

    Cheers- AL

Quite true, NJ- if you have Audio Selection with L/R set to On in Audio Settings. But this is on a per-Channel basis, m8. I'm suggesting doing it the same way VM do it, and have the option to turn AD OFF altogether, if you want to.
We might have some blind dbox2 users who might want to switch this feature to On, of course...

    Re: The Wish List

you got it in one. LOL

some sort of trial image so your requred to leave feedback for activation .

you know the old story you been around you seen it for yourself.
    downloads never match the feedback.

it would be nice to see some compulsory feedback system where users are forced to give a little of thier time bck to further development.

trouble is this could also be to usfull for a trader if they knew how to do it so maybe it isnt a good idea after all

    Re: The Wish List

    @nj,
Don't necessary have to have 'activation' to entice people to leave feedback. A simple nag screen that is overlaid across the TV picture would annoy me enough to leave feedback after which I could receive a code to remove the bloody thing Hidden Content .

These are actual images from a test image I just done:

I've tried watching the screen for 3 days now and that message gets on my tits tbh. So I would be more than happy to leave feedback on the forums in exchange for an 'unlock code' (entered via a menu) to remove the message.

To make it even more annoying you could even expand it to say something like ":: PLEASE LEAVE FEEDBACK FOR THIS IMAGE ON THE FORUMS ::", which would then fill the whole screen and therefore draw more attention.

    Re: The Wish List

    Just thought,
We could change the message to:

'Please leave feedback for this FREE image on the forums'

..just to make it that extra bit
    unfriendly for traders.

It would be hardcoded into neutrino and therefore not editable in english.locale

    Re: The Wish List

my wish would be to ask a straight forward question, and get a straight forward answer, without the reaper removing my posts, we all know what were doing, and they know what were doing, and they know we know what's happening, this site is full of information but its spread to far and wide, there should be a section for straight talking and straight asking, then every 30 minutes it should be cleaned, then restarted. there I go again, he's going to catch me soon, im going to readly have toHidden Content this time. that is my wish,
