    Linux Dev Challenge

    Hi all,

as usual a lot of you guys just come to the forums to download stuff or read up on the latest development but do not really give anything back to the comunity.

Basically in the UK there are 2 Standards. Mr. Murd0ch uses Hidden Content for his Empire of total world domination and at least DVB-T in the UK uses MHEG.

This gives you the well known Red Button Feature on your original Set Top Boxes.

I found this: Hidden Content here on my travels and maybe someone with Knowledge could make that a Task and try to implement it for Dbox or Dreambox usage.

    Hidden Content

The Issue with OpenTV is that at present via 28.2 Digital Sat you only receive Now and Next EPG with a Non Sly Sat Receiver.

So guys and gals start set go and happy modding

Rasc from the Tuxbox Board even programmed some diffs that can do Picture in Picture... I shall ask him if we can have these

EDIT: Made it a sticky ;-)

    Re: Linux Dev Challenge

Is the current dbox code open source? I'd like to take a look at it, do some testing with my box, red button would be a very nice feature.
