The Ferrari SF90 Stradale is one of the quickest cars we've ever driven. Even in the age of always-on all-electric torque monsters, the 986-hp hybrid supercar is able to warp your perception of just how quickly cars can go, both on the road and the track. That's why we weren't surprised to hear the car was able to set a 0-60 time of 2 seconds flat during our sister publication Car and Driver's testing procedures, making it the quickest car to 60 mph ever tested by the publication. After marking off the blistering 0-60 run, the SF90 Stradale goes on to set a 0-100 time of 4.4 seconds and a quarter-mile time of 9.5 seconds at 148 mph. Car and Driver also recorded a 0-150 mph time of 9.8 seconds.

The SF90 Stradale was 0.1 second quicker than the publication's previous record-holder, the Porsche 918 Spyder. Like the SF90, the 918 is a hybrid that uses two electric motors up front and a V-8 engine in the rear. They're similar on paper, save for the lack of turbos on the 918's high-revving naturally aspirated engine. Amazingly, the Porsche's record stood for seven full years, beating out even newer Bugattis and Teslas, before finally succumbing to the Ferrari. It's worth noting this time wasn't set on any sort of prepped drag surface—it was done on the road course at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. We're betting that with stickier tires and a proper drag strip start line, the SF90 could go even faster. We're curious if any owners are brave enough to find out.
