This car is shaping up to be one of Ferrari's best, Ferrari revealed its newest V-12 supercar, the 812 Competizione. It's a limited-edition variant of the already great 812 Superfast built to conquer racetracks, packing an 819-hp naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V-12 engine that can rev all the way to 9500 rpm, new bodywork, and a trick independent rear-wheel steering system. To the surprise of absolutely no one, it's very good at roasting tires.The Varryx spy video YouTube channel managed to catch an 812 Competizione going absolutely wild around Ferrari's private Fiorano circuit in Italy soon after the car's international press launch, getting sideways through corners and performing massive burnouts. In addition to the copious amount of tire smoke, we're treated to an absolutely fantastic naturally aspirated V-12 soundtrack. This is one of Ferrari's best, folks.Of course, the 812 Competizione is good for more than just turning rubber into white smoke. Ferrari quotes a 0-62 time of just 2.85 seconds and a top speed of 211 mph. Around Fiorano, the hotted-up 812 is 1.5 seconds quicker than the Superfast it's based on, and just three tenths off the big-boy LaFerrari.
