    What is the best freeview solution?

    I have an older tv that has freeview but i wonder if i ended up getting a newer freeview box of some kind would i gain more channels etc

    Any thoughts on what i should look for?

    Not sure about more channels mate but try youview with hd channels hdd and catch up tv imo it is very good plus it does get updated

    Had a look but it would mean changing my broadband and getting a tv package etc or ?700 for a sony tv so thats not happening.

    Ive just got rid of my tv package with virgin so i assumed there would be a freeview box available that was more upto date than mine

    just goto one of the freeview websites
    like freeview.co.uk.

    pop in your postcode
    it will tell yu the channels you can get
    then check what your current tv is getting

    I don't thinks so we are on vm and brought a youview box that was bt branded and it works fine

    As I have said we brought a box cost ?30 if I remember and no you don't need a tv package you could get extra channels if you got one through bt,talktalk ect but you don't need to
