These are ok and you can get movies, sport and lots of other things on it using xbmc and the relevant plugins
    Code:

they are mostly plug and play. the only downside to IPTV devices is that your more or less Downloading stuff and your isp might have a problem with that. Might be best to use a vpn if your serious about IPTV devices.

I know i sound like a killjoy and most people would be safe enough..... but its best to make an informed decision.

the ones fergals is talking about uses a variant of xbmc which should update itself or by you with a few button presses. The one you posted is more or less the same, just different hardware.

If your expecting an experience like a normal set top box with a TV guide etc then you'll be disappointed.

Navi x doesnt work anymore or the last time i checked. Was blocked by isp's which is the downside of IPTV so a VPN is a must imo and suggest this:

Hidden Content have a 3 day one at ?1 euro for you test out(7 euro for a month). The box you posted above has a VPN addon already installed, it says, so should be able to input the details if you wish to use a vpn in future.

try setting up xbmc on your pc/laptop first and use the hub wizard to install all the extras. Test xbmc out first before spending money.

    instructions are in this section

xbmc hub installs most of the good ones.

nice find by fergals and cheaper. its has 8gb storage and you can add a 32gb memory card and also plug a usb hdd into it too. Its also DLNA compat so you could stream movies to it from pc or NAS.

AS for the VPN you can download an plugin for xbmc that would allow you to input VPN details.
