transferring saved passwords
how do i go about transferring the saved passwords and bookmarks from firefox from one pc,to put on firefox on another pc,where will the saved passwords be

firefox. Dunno about saving passwords but you can get them all by doing.
TOOLS>OPTIONS>SECURITY>SAVED PASSWORDS>SHOW PASSWORDS
You can export your bookmarks in the bookmark bit where you can arrange them

Go to add ons and do a search for password exporter then add to firefox.
you can then do as above and export passwords will also be available

Goto run in the start menu and then run on your pc and type%AppData% then press enter. then copy the Morzilla folder and tranfer over to the other pc job done only takes 20 seconds Hidden Content That takes everything bookmarks passwords the lot all in one go

Hidden Content ...wish i new that before, just formatted my pc...got all the bookmarks over, but just cannot remember all the usernames and passwords that i had for different websites...

I'd like to suggest keepass with the optional keefox firefox add on. SAves the password in a central loation in a protected db file. Only downfall is if you forget the password....then all your passwords are lost!
