    dab signal

    i bought a digital radio and reception is crap,i was told this is because i live in a steel framed hose is there anything i can do?

    will act as whats called a Faraday Cage.
    No Electromagnectic will be able to pass through the structure, i'e TV/Radio or WHY.

    you will need to fit an external Aerial and connect this to your DAB radio.
    some, but not all, DAB sets have this socket on the case of the radio.

    have a look and go from there.
