Integrating SP3 into XP installation CD (Slipstreaming)

Im no computer expert but with the help of the guide listed below I made a XP PRO installation cd that has all updates upto & including SP3 included in one install. Its perfectly legal, in fact most of the tools required come from the microsoft download site. give it a go. very handy when you want a pc up & running quickly.

Don't know if it is mentioned on that link but if you make a slipstream sp3 disk make sure you do it using XP Win98 etc. If you slipstream the disk using vista you cannot enter any product key to repair/install XP as its DRM stops a vital file being copied.

Only if you don't do it using Admin privvies. You can slipstream using xp/visa with equal success. Just make sure you use admin privs in vista.
