i will give it another try sometimes soon, as i say, it was crap for me when i tried it last year and at that point in time i rated it a lot lower than vista ultimate 64bit, and since then i havent tried it again, so if microsoft have done lots of good updates since then then i would expect it to be better now, i would hope so, Hidden Content , i will try it sometime soon when i feel like messing about. no rush.

Re: Which Operating System are you using?
Apart from the normal updates and compatability patches that you get with any new system , I really don't think it has changed that much at all since you tried it back in October thomson.
I find the system good for me and the interactive taskbar quite useful sometimes. It has a minor annoyance of closing some windows to the task bar when I am moving them around, but I can live with that.
If you didn't like it before m8, you won't like it any more now. If you don't think you will stick with it and get used to it, then don't bother re installing and trying it again. Save yourself the hassle if you don't like it!
I haven't liked bread and butter pudding since I was a kid, that's a long time ago and if someone served that up to me today they would still be wearing my puke!

Re: Which Operating System are you using?
I've been playing with Linux for a wee while now.
Back in the day I had to rebuild my laptop, didn't have an XP disk so tried Ubuntu.
Never really looked back. Seems to get better with each release.
In work we're kinda tied to XP still.

Hidden Content If I had to use dos dave I wouldn't own a computer and would be using the telephone and snailmail for everything!
I started late in life with XP, but if dos was a sandwich I would starve to death! Hidden Content
That's why we have these all encompassing OS's, so that the average user doesn't need to go down that complicated path. Hidden Content
Trapped by MS, but functional in our ignorance! Hidden Content
