Are many people using their own MACS in the case where they can't get any from a different area then? I know this isn't the ideal soloution,

my thinking was if I can't get a MAC in a different area then I would use my own MAC with a 10mb file when I need to download a fair amount and then if i was just generally mooching about on the net i'd use my regular 4mb subbed modem

anyone forsee problems with this?

When doing a DHCP Force scan I have found quite a few sa-dtv-only.cm config files, can i use these MACS on my own gateway with a cloned modem and use a 10mb config file?

i just drove about 2 miles down the road to a different ubr and scanned using my psp had the ubr page and modem page set as bookmarks so it was just a case of finding unsecure lans and hooking on to check if they are cable if so going to the modem page and taking the mac down. worked a treat

good idea, if i find a 2mb MAC for example, can i then force a 10mb config file on a motorola 4200E?

Im assuming its to build your own blackat ??

P.S ,, you could have started your own thread. It makes it easier if someone was searching the forum for that image.
