I have sky downstairs and want to view it upstairs in the bedroom.

There isnt any coax connecting them so it has to be wireless.

I think the argos aei digisenders will work. It will have to get thru/around a 2 ft thinck wall though.

Has anyone used these and if so are they worth getting ?

Sorry but not allowed post a link to them. Its the ones that plug into the scart socket on each end (39 stg)

Cheers

Some people have posted about the ones on argos aparently they are very good, look around the forum for the other post, not sure about going through a 2 foot wall though.

ok, so 2 argos digisenders. Er - going back to argos today.

Big unwieldy thingies to attach on scart sockets on both ends. Basically couldnt get a perfect picture all the time. Also the sky menu appreared really grainy and this also affected the main tv.

Lastly, subtitles also appeared grainy.

Distance between tvs = 16 feet !

Score 3/10.

Did you buy the ones that everyone else bought? http://world-of-digital.com/forums/f54/8744-av-sender.html?highlight=argos

I thought you were looking to buy the other one and would have found it on the forums there are loads of different digisenders in argos.

I recently installed one made by "All4One" I think it was, for my elderly aunt. Worked very well and installed in a couple of minutes. Came with a Sky remote for use in the other room as well. It sent the signal upstairs no problem, I have heard some brands don't have very good range.

I bought these babies and i've got to say they work a treat. Main TV is downstairs and portable upstairs. Picture quality is perfect and i mean perfect.

Only gripe is that although they come with a remote cable thingy, they do not work with TW boxes so channels have to be manually changed although dvd/video can be controlled from upstairs.
