What does the dreambox give you access to?

Hi,
Dreambox series give you access to all the euro sat chanels plus sly uk, but you need the right cams and cards, dreambox's are usually for the serious hobbyist, there is a lot to them!!
Cheers,
Eltel2.

lol I know what you mean I think they like to keep it like that what cards have you got as you need to bring something to the table from what I'v heard . I think there is a couple of different servers they use for it ,but not sure might just be bad talk also I think you have to be on 24 7 but I'm not 100% on this this is just what I heard

oh right, i heard that people just hosted servers and you gave them a few quid every month to cover costs and all that

that would be ideal for me ;D

Well i would say that is right as well, but i think they also like you to bring something in to it as well as they cant be on all the time.Think of it like this if he turns his end off i.e dreambox then you dont get anything your end so this would be no good on one min then off the next, the more people with cards from different country's and a couple from the uk as well then it means some one will always be on so you can get some tv.I could be wrong in the way I'm thinking here but its what i sort of make out of the hole thing, might be a good thout if say a couple of us were to look more into this and see what we can come up with can i see a dw share:-?

yeah sounds good, to be honest *theoretically speaking ;) *

I wouldn't mind having a subbed card, leaving dbox on 24/7 and uploading whatever needs to be uploaded if people chipped in for the cost

The way it works is if your paying for it then you can watch it dont know about paying for stuff might need your skybox,I use newd cam and can watch all the free stuff as i dont pay for anything elles now from what I know if you are paying for stuff you need the BOX KEY or IRD from your sky box to get it to work, have also heard people saying there sky cards have updated in the dream box dont know if this is true but just to be sure I'd put it in to there box toi make sure the card updates

The DM500-S is a great little box especially for the price @ £130 excellent quality picture and sound a steep learning curve maybe but loads of support all over the net and well worth the effort.
