There is a cracked version of it on most torrent sites, but were not allowed to post links to torrent sites on here.

No there isn't anything wrong with posting torrent sites as I know. Its what could be downloaded from them which can get people into trouble but forums arn't responsible for that

I know and I now think its a good idea because the forums would just be spammed with torrent links.

Hiya Mate,

Just be aware with using IE7, we've had a few issues loading McAfee AV V8 when IE7 was on a machine. We've had to down grade to IE6 to get the software on then upgrade to IE7 again. Other way around it is to manually load the AV instead of using a remote agent - you didn't ask any of this but thought you might like to know. = )

Some naughty people copy the licence keys from libraries, colleges & uni's etc not that I would do such an evil thing

I tried IE7 and really didn't like it, didn't see the point in having it when Firefox does everything and more. Have gone back to Firefox 2.0 with IE Tab for any sites that need IE (like windows update)

I would not recommend installing the cracked one doing the rounds, the install
itself is broken and will screw your XP up, as I did, luckily I was able to pull
the files I needed to save through my network, but I had to install XP again.
For all the difference I would stick to 6, or opera, firefox etc...
:)

If you have IE6, is it any advantage to get IE7? How much better is it?

not worth it you are better of with Firefox 2 as it has 100's of add ons and all are free and with ie7 only a limited amount are free.

i use FF2 and the best add on i have ever come across to date within any browser has goot to be the mouse gesture feature as you can do any task within the broswer with a mere movement of your mouse.

And just check out the other addons that you can have as well, and its securer and faster than ie7.

Firefox2 for me also. I hate IE in any of its incarnations.

word of waring, if you do use ie 7, NEVER UNINTALL IT!!! unless you doing it straight away,

it causes many problems which are a big pain in the rear. IE7 integrates will many apps and anything you install after you install ie 7 will probably have some integration with it. So a word of warning, install it, if you like it keep it, if not go back to ie6 before its to late!!!
