Hi All,
I am trying to set up a BulletProof FTP Server
so i can share my E:/drive so my m8 can login and grab what he wants.
My setup is
Desktop pc connected via Ethernet cable to a Netgear 108mbps wireless router model No:WGT624
Laptop connected wireless to the above via a Netgear 108mbps wireless usb 2.0 adaptor model No:WG111T.

With the help of a very patient member of this forum i installed
BulletProof FTP Server on my lappy to test first and we got it working ok.
So i proceeded and set my desktop pc up exactly the same way, as this is were the files are kept i want to share.
I have disabled all firewalls and antivirus then closed these down completly
gave the folders share rights, but it wont let anyone connect.

When i use flashfxp on my lappy and put the details in i get this
Connecting to fergalsworld -> IP=**.***.***.*** PORT=21
[R] Connected to fergalsworld
[R] Connection failed (Connection lost)
[R] Delaying for 120 seconds before reconnect attempt #1
[R] Retry attempt Aborted.
If i change the ip in flashfxp to the bog standard router ip 192.168.1.2
it lets me connect but no one else.
Its got me stumped any ideas:please:
Thanks.

in bullet make sure all home ips are detected and if not manually add them including ur gateway and network ip
