well i got the spv m2000 nice big screen and good for the wireless side of things, these were ?400 when i got mine 11 months ago think you can get them for ?100 on ebay now, you will need a gps unit if you want tom tom to work on it.

I have an ipaq (HP) which has bluetooth and wireless, perfect for pairing with a tomtom bluetooth gps. For built in, i hear good things about acers, Medion also do a pocket pc with gps built in but the software isn't that good.

I use an asus A620BT. I have tomtom on it and stuff. Its pretty cool. However, if i were to buy one now I'd consider a few things. It must have built-in wifi, handle both SD and CF cards and hopefully have built-in gps receiver.

Since my asus doesnt have built-in wifi i have to use a CF wifi card. Thats great apart from the fact i have to take my memory out to use it :) Luckily you can get CF wifi cards with 128megs built in. Even so, that still sucks :)

Dell do decent pda's i think. the Dell Axim X51 i think.. With the latest windows mobile on it. and a VGA display. pretty cool.

Even better if you get all the above + built in gps :)

I bought an AcerN35 from MAKRO for ?120, built in GPS is ok but works a lot better with an external Antenna. The Charging port on the bottom of it is very fragile though.

I have been using the hp ipaq 65xx and 69xx. They have a decent in built gps receiver, phone cum pda. And fits easily in your shirt pocket. The 69xx series have an built wifi. The 65xx series has no wifi but two sd slots (so u could use one for a SDIO wifi card).

I have used an Ipaq 4150 for the last couple of years, together with a separate bluetooth GPS reciever for TomTom.

If I were buying again now, I would definately look at a pda with a VGA screen (640 x 480) and not 320 x 240 which many models have.

I would be looking at the latest HP range, the 69xx range as already mentioned.
