Hi
I'm new to satellite and I'm currently looking to setup a system at home.
I have done some research and it seems technomate is what should go for.
What is the difference between these 2 models and which one should I go for?
Thanks in advance!
Yea have to waite for the geniune members that have the recivers that you have to answer m8 before yea start to answer yer own posts.
I have had a few of the 1500CI + systems and never had an issue with them.
Realy easy to use and yea can get quite a bit with them via software flashed to them or inputing codes via the remote.
Regretfully bud, i`ve not had the 1600 version so cant comment on that, but other than the 1500 been a little bulkie they are fine, and a good starter reciver for a newbie

1500 is the one you should go for, as you can program it to open loads of channels, and also has 1 slot for a cam, 1600 has 2 slots and no internal emulator

go for the 1500ci+super m8 as already said it's got a cam slot incase you decide to get a can later in life. also make sure it's a super box as some are just 1500 as it makes a blind search a hell of lot faster compared to a non super box

Yes the 1500 is the one for you.
Very well supported receiver.
