A FORMER MICROSOFT security strategist has joined up with the Mozilla Foundation to teach how to protect Firefox from hackers.
The appropriately named Window Snyder was responsible for the security content in Voles XP Service Pack 2 and Windows Server 2003, and will spearhead Mozzarella's security strategy.

According to EWeek, she will be working for the profit making side of the outfit.

Ironically the Mozzarella's Firefox browser has been doing well lately thanks to security flaws in Microsoft's Internet Exploder.

Snyder has not been around Vole for a while as she has been principal and founder of Matasano Security. This was a start-up hired by Microsoft to find security holes in Vista.

Historically she was responsible for improving Vole's relationship with security consultants, which hit an all time low a while back.
