The flash only bypasses the media checks, it doesnt allow the console to run unsigned code.

Not even soon unfortunately, the ability to run stuff like that is controlled by the bios, which nobody has even been able to find yet, let alone crack.

It's gonna be a while before you can run stuff like that.

The only way to view divx media on your xbox is if through your pc. Also the pc must have the windows media center OS.

No ,you cant even do it this way, diuvx will not play on the 360 unle sMS add a codec to play it, even using the 360 as a media center extender (or using any media center extender) you are limited to MPEG MPEG2 or WMV video playback.

Transcode 360 is probably about the only way to do it. Just wish they'd sort the vista version out...

No your wrong matey you can play divx/xvid and whatever if you install transcode on the media center pc. I do it and it works fine, would go crazy having to watch my downloaded tv on the pc

If anyone is having trouble installing the xbox 360 with MCE uninstal Net framework 2.0 as that was giving me no end of grief when i was doing it and the only way i could get them to connect was to reinstall the pc with MCE and make sure that it didnt get installed at all and it worked fine first time. My mate has just installed Vista and he has connected his 360 to it with a few small issues and got films streaming fine so i hope that this helps someone who is thinking about upgrading to vista.
