ok, will search ebay and hopefully get one for reasonable price and will any gps reciever do, as prices vary on 12,16, and 20 channel ones

Very easy to get working as everyones already said, I had it on mine was a 6630 though. Although you will need a bigger memory card you can find them cheap on auction sites (not sure if I can actually give web addresses though).

Also the GPS receivers work on the same principle, just the packaging quality you pay extra for.
expect to pay a lot for Tom Tom devices even though they'll do just the same as some cheap ones.

The devices with Sirf Star 3 are good, I've only had receivers with 12 Channels and they've worked fine, never bought or seen a 20 channel one.

Also make sure you get one with at least 45sec cold start and 5sec warm start pref lower if you can.

hi, you do not need to pay for tomtom. just get it from emule. go to pocketgps.co.uk and get the latest speed camera database and load it in to the map folder on the memory and activate via POI warning on your tomtom.

yeah tomtom 500 is the best thing on the market for making calls and sending sms etc. Oh and it fits snuggly in your pocket when your not in the car! - NOT!
