cheers mate but i was trying that one and its not working im getting this in hyperterm,but netboot not workin?

also if it matters i have a 4200 here that is netbootable(thats how i done it in the first place) and been testing on that and cant get it to netboot either??iv tryed a different copy off netboot and still no good....anyone any ideas?

i think it is the vxworks.st file its talking about so i choped and changed and still not different!! also in boot-server do i have my ip at 192.168.100.10 or the one thats there when boot-server opens(iv tryed both anyway)


also this is the info off a 4200

E-mail with info sent as your post count is still low ,
The 4200 should be netbootable , as it has hackware on , it could possably be your firewall blocking the connection.

ok koevoet (thanks for the vid) i used a different pc now and i got the 4100 to take to file through boot.exe and hyperterm ,but when i go to 192.168.100.1 theres still no hack tab?

Ok did you use the vxWorks file i sent you ,, if so , then the minute you see the boot server has logged out you must goto the 192 page straight away , because if the modem reboots it will revert back to it`s previous firmware ,as the vxWorks file is only temporary.

Na mate i could not get the one you send me to d/l.....il have a look round for a few other ones!! do i just put the new vx files im trying in the boot.exe folder?
