YouView will revamp its programme guide this summer to make room for broadband TV channels, starting with BT Sport and TalkTalk?s pay-TV channels. The hybrid TV service will also add the Android version of its remote record app, before enhancing it with accessibility and remote control features.
The EPG changes will have to fit around the standard Freeview guide, although YouView isn?t saying whether it will use the new On Demand section or just add its own channels from number 1,000 up.
