this is my first attempt of using woodchips to make JD
about 2.1L of 40% neutral spirit and 200grms of JD woodchips
maybe i should of washed the woodchips longer and letting them dry
before i put the neutral in

ahh but does it taste nice? Thats all that matters lol

Am yet to get on the spirits one as to engrossed in the beer/lager/wine one.

Let me know how you get on and any recipes/guides would help ;-)

im hoping so,after a few weeks on the woodchips it should/look/taste like JD

well the spirit has started to get some colour in it now,will take a pix termoz

i will keep updating this thread as times goes on

forgot to say ..this is what im aiming for,the guy who made this
has left his spirit soaking for 8 weeks

this has been soaking on woodchips for 7 days now,looking good now yumyum

just an update not sampled any yet i might try some at
weekend two weeks on the woodchips
