View Full Version : Blade help,won't connect to servers.

Spoke to soon,got new blade set up today.Everything went fine till I went to Ip settings,typed in server details and tried to connect-connection failed.Tried to access 9991 menu and nothing happened.I'm getting all freesat chanels including HD ones.All IP setting are there so it's picking up my vermin super hub.S/W version Oct 12 201289h/w version 1boot version 5.3ch version F015Grateful for any help or advice, thanks.

You need the patched image to gain access to the 9991 menu. If you cant get in that then you are not able to set it up properly. You need to flash the patched image on it

I tried to flash the patched image or I thought it was the patched image I got from here To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 1 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. If this is not the patched image do you know where i could get it,thanks.

That is the patched image Berley has uploaded in post 2 of that thread
are you sure you flashed it right via usb?

I tried to flash it via USB but it said invalid stb.It is also the same name as the one already in the blade.

don't know much about blades, but have you initialized the usb stick in the box ??

Tried again,formatted USB in blade and reloaded stb file via PC but it still says invalid stb.

Try flashing the older version firmware in that thread see if you get the same error

Tried flashing old stb file and it said invalid stb.I saved the stb file that was in the box which was
"BM7000s_APP_LD_119_20101230.stb".I then reflashed it using the same file and it said success but I still can't access 9991 menu.On searching net I read on another site that patched firmware must contain the letter P.

You are extracting it from the rar file first before you put it on the usb stick directly and not in a folder either aren't you?

Tried the file,unrated it and put it on usb,blade read it but when it went to write it it said invalid stb

Try doing a factory reset first also make sure you are doing it right read page 10 of this pdf.

Brill,done factory reset thro engineer menu then wrote the stb file you gave me and hey presto 9991 menu came up.I've a message to go but will try later on.Many thanks for all your help everybody.

Glad to here it, you should be able to put the latest firmware on now.
