Not long now.

Who do you think will win and why?

I still can't look past Spain. The Germans and Dutch will be up there. Both in the same group if I remember correctly. Too much firepower with the Spanish although they will miss Villa.

Got Ireland and Italy in the work sweep. Can't see that paying out!!

Germany to win with the squad they've got only defence a slight concern in my opinion. France to surprise people i think and England to get knocked out in the group stage

Only way I can see England getting anywhere in it is by starting with oxlade chamberlain he could well be our secret weapon but I don't see him getting much game time if any

We have done a charity Euro 2012 prediction game at work - I ended up with Germany winning based on the results. Wouldn't surprise me at all, but would look for Spain to be up there. France I would imagine will have another terrible tournament.

I fancy a darkhorse this year, France must be due a good run. Russia must be a shout as well.
Maybe im just kidding myself though as these are the 2 ive been lumbered with in the work sweepstake!!

Spain for me - bearing that they can replace Villa's goal scoring presence.

It's got to be between Spain and Germany.

Forget England. I can't see that squad getting past the quarters.

I'm going to go with Italy because of all the controversy they have had!

the netherlands will need to be watched, the attacking threat they pose will trouble any side! van persie`s been awesome all season and if he carries on in that vain will bang the goals the dutch need, having robben, sneijder and affelay behind you aint a bad thing either lol! spain ive a feeling will slip up around the semi`s, england i cant see getting past the quarters. germany to make the final but a double doze of agony for the german players who lost the champions league too!

Got my fingers crossed..but the lads are dropping like flies.

Gutted Cahill isn't going to go..but glad Rio never got the call up. Kelly is an adequate replacement.

Spain for me

Should be Spain. But if they come up against a team that organises themselves like Chelski did against Barca, then...

The Dutch for me! They have a very strong attack and will just need to be safe at the back...

Germany or Holland for me. Germany always come good in tournaments and Holland well, with the attacking flair they have they always going to cause problems

I fancy Holland to win it this time. Can't see beyond Holland, Spain and Germany as those three are not just the three best teams in Europe, but the world. Sweden would be my pick to complete the semi-final line-up.

As an England supporter all I can say is that it is lucky I am a fan of football and that the start between Russia and Czech Rep was brilliant. Teams have been playing open football, Reds and Yellows galore and its going to be a ripper tournament. For me Spain should win. Germany will be in the final and England will go out at some stage after a non committed and poor performance.

fredbob

germany have a good chance, i dont think holland will even get out of the group stage with the defence they have

Shocking how spain never played with any strikers! Anyway both teams played well. Let's see how England does tomorrow or shall I say later on today :)

I thought that was an excellent point. The most important thing was that we didn't lose, and I thought the Ox was excellent, though I would like to see Walcott deployed more often.

I'd have to go with Russia as dark horses, tho i've got France in my work's sweepstake.

I think if England manage to get out of the group they have a massive chance of winning especially when rooney comes back to partner Welbeck.
