Latest report suggest that the release of Google’s new Nexus tablet might has been put back two months from the early expectation. If this rumor is true, then Google might introduce their first tablet PC to public for the first time on July. Previously, the device is predicted to start penetrate the market on May.

The giant search company is reported to seek a price cut to $249, so they need more time to build a decent tablet with such affordable price tag. It is said that the Nexus tablet will feature Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core processors and 7″ touch screen. In addition, Google also plan to include a WiFi connectivity support and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich since the first day.
It’s been six months now since Google’s CEO, Eric Schmidt, said that the company will come out with Android tablet with highest quality. They are reported to work closely with Asus to build the first “official” android tablet. No wonder why they use the latest version of Android 4.0 in order to compete against the iOS, which now dominated the tablet PC market.
But there are also some rumors that suggest Google is currently delay the release of Nexus tablet because they are waiting for the Android 5.0 Jelly Bean. If this rumors are true, then this tablet will be the first of it’s kind to enter the market. Not to mention that there also some experts suggest that $149 price tag is meant to challenge the Amazon Kindle Fire, which is already announced as the world’s best selling Android tablet. Despite the fact that it is use minimalistic Google’s standard apps to operate.
However, the Nexus tablet’s name is not confirmed yet. Lot of online web page decided to call it that way because Google was using that name to dub their previous flagship android smartphone, like Nexus S, Nexus One, and the latest Galaxy Nexus.

I'm looking forward to the Transformer Infinity. 7" is too small for me.
