Orange will be offering HTC's One X and One S Android handsets to its contract customers from April 5.
The new devices will be available in Orange stores, via telesales or through the online webstore.
Prices are very much in line with those announced by other networks. Each handset is available on a 24 month contract with the One X costing ?41 per month and the One S at ?36 per month.
Both handsets run on Android Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0, the latest build of Google's mobile platform. They also both feature the latest HTC Sense 4.0 user interface (UI) which includes support for some nifty new camera features offered by s dedicated camera chip inside the phones.
Each has an 8-megapixel primary camera capable of capturing HD 1080p video and still images at the same time. Another neat trick is if you hold the shutter button down the phone will keep snapping up to 20 pictures in rapid succession and then tell you which is the best shot.
The One X has a quad core ARM Cortex-A9 processor clocked at 1.5GHz and running on Nvidia's Tegra 3 chip with a Geforce ULP graphics processing unit (GPU) and 1GB of RAM memory. It also features 32GB of onboard storage.
Meanwhile, the One S uses a dual core ARM Cortex-A9 processor, again clocked at 1.5GHz but using Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon S4 Krait chipset and an Adreno 225 GPU plus 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.
Neither handset has a micro SD slot but each has 25GB of integrated DropBox cloud storage thrown in for free.

my sister just got a 'one x', and it looks a decent smartphone.

She'll never be able to use it you see, she's computer illiterate and only just got used to using a blackberry lol
