I`ve tried this in various McDonalds, they are BT open zones... so you need an account and credit for this. Also available in most airports.

Is this true for all McDonald's FAST FOOD OUTLETS throughout the country?

I saw the other day that you can get a wifi signal anywhere in Norwich...all you need now is a reason to go to Norwich!

No this is not true look on mcdonalds website it will tell you which ones have wireless internet and there arent very many with it, and I think you will have to pay for most if not all of them, someone else on this site said that witherspoons give you 30 minutes free but have not tried this out.

Yes, Wetherspoons provide 30 minutes free surfing everytime you buy a drink. Surf for 30 minutes then go buy another and surf for another 30 minutes. Details are here :- Magazine | J D Wetherspoon ? One of Britain's leading pub chains (http://www.jdwetherspoon.co.uk/magazine/viewarticle.php?ID=23)
