Samsung and Google have set a new date - 19 October - for the reveal of the next version of Android, after it postponed its previous event due to the death of former Apple CEO Steve Jobs.
The event will take place on this new day, which is set to reveal not only Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, but the next Nexus device, too.
The launch was supposed to take place on 11 October, but Samsung and Google decided to postpone it after Steve Jobs died earlier this month.
Some of the spec of the next Nexus device may have already leaked. It could be 9mm thick and may have a 4.65-inch 1,280 x 720 Super AMOLED HD display with curved glass.
It will reportedly run on a 1.2GHz TI OMAP 4460 dual core Cortex A9 processor and may have 1GB of RAM. It could also have LTE or HSPA, depending on the carrier.
