Remote access to every file on your Western Digital hard-drive. Just plug it into your router.
Western Digital has launched a new app for iPhone, iPad and Android, which allows users to access files from their home external hard-drive, wherever they roam.
The WD 2go app offers cloud access to all the files you have saved on your Western Digital My Book Live external hard-drive, providing it is plugged into your home router.
The app, for example, would allow you to access your entire music collection without the need to sign up for a cloud locker service like Google Music or iTunes Match.
It also allows you access to endless movies and TV shows, that you have stored on the 1TB storage device.
Another neat piece of functionality also uploads the any photos and videos you take using your phone and backs them up to the My Book Live device
All i need now is a wd 1tb hdd lol
