Found this and thought you might like to take a look
The EVO 3D, as the name suggests, is a 3D-ready handset. But unlike some of its peers, most notably the LG Optimus 3D, it doesn?t have a glasses-free 3D display. Instead, HTC has built in a 3D imaging unit that?ll shoot both images and 3D video in 720p quality and left the display well alone.
Glasses-free 3D displays aren?t quite as good as they should be just yet. For one, the quality isn?t quite there and to view 3D visuals properly on a glasses-free device you have to hold the device in a certain way to access its sweet spot.
Simply sticking a 3D display on a handset and hoping no one minds holding the device in a particular way to see the display properly is a big ask. HTC is gone the right route on this one.
Gimmicks aside, the 3D imaging capabilities aboard the HTC EVO 3D was pretty impressive. To switch between 2D and 3D modes you simply flick a switch and the phone's hardware and software does the rest.
Video can be shot in 3D too (720p at 30fps) but you get higher 1080p quality when shooting in 2D. There?s no HDMI-out
The device is powered by the latest version of Android (2.3.4) and is skinned with HTC?s Sense 3.0 UI. Under the hood there?s a 1.2GHz Qualcomm MSM8660 CPU and Adreno 220 GPU, as well as 1GB of RAM (that?s more than the Sensation), 1GB of ROM, 32GB of microSD storage and all the connectivity (Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, WiMAX 802.16 e, DLNA, Wi-Fi hotspot)
The EVO 3D?s 4.3-inch 3D LCD capacitive touchscreen (540x960 pixels) is also pretty impressive too. It?s the same deal as the one present on the HTC Sensation
