Who needs a remoterofl
It's a TV that keeps close watch on those watching it. Toshiba hopes its new UL863 and SL833 televisions will make it easier for users to call up their personal preferences. An integrated camera recognizes up to four users and automatically sets the preferred volumes, images and channel menus.
The UL863 comes in 32, 37, 42 and 46-inch versions and should be available in the second quarter of 2011, costing between 899 and 1,349 euros (aprox ?793 and ?1190). The SL833 will come out in the same sizes, priced at between 799 and 1,249 euros(aprox?705 and?1102) when it goes on sale in May.
If you've got money to spend, there will also be the 55-inch 3D 55LZ1 television, which will cost 4,999 euros(aprox ?4412). This device also recognizes users, but, according to the manufacturer, also uses a very powerful Cevo Engine multiprocessor that supports 3D shutter technology and the conversion of 2D images into 3D. It also includes an integrated 500-gigabyte video recorder and 512 completely independent screen regions with dimming and brightness controls.

It sounds like they have integrated some elements of the Xbox 360 Kinect hardware? :-?

I smell a copyright infringement coming on?
Even if it just had an S in the title, Sony would object and take it to court!
