I wonder if anyone can help with this ?
I have been asked to fit lazer beams at work what they want is a beam that goes across an opening and when the beam is broken an alarm will sound. I cant seem to find anything so any help would be great.
Thanks for looking.

They use a similar system at work for fire detection, you would probably be better using infrared as i would think that there would be a product available ready to use, I would think lazer would be complex and expensive.

Try a couple of local alarm system installers they would probably supply what you need, there are some on the market for home use that use PIR like shed alarm plug and play typs maybe something on that line.
