If you were one of those people who just couldn't wait until next month to play Halo: Reach and thus downloaded the leaked version from online, you'll now wish you stayed away instead of failing that marshmallow test. Microsoft means business, and they have no qualms of banning not only your consoles but also your XBL accounts. Permanently.

Can't touch this.

This email here shows a very stern Microsoft notifying the guilty parties of a Permanent Suspension for Prerelease title play. Included in the permanent suspension is the disabling of our XBL account. Don't expect your XBL privileges to be reinstated as well. This is punishment at its finest for violating the XBL Terms and Conditions.

Here's the penalizing email in full:

With all the crap flying about lately, you cant do this, you cant do that, they might as well close down Xbox live altogether and do us all a favour.
I think the only reason for its existence is not for the console owners, but so that Microshaft can hold the sword of Damocles over peoples heads and blackmail them!
Protest people, get your box jtagged, save a lot of money and stress and let them know they can STUFF Xbox live and its unconstitutional, barely legal activities! :HiFlip:

Microshaft would soon regret their high handed ways when they lost billions of dollars in subscription and points buying income! :machinegun::flag:
