Apple are apparently keen on embedding cardiac sensors within the case of an iPhone. Such sensors would be able to monitor things like your heart rythmn when the phone was held in the hand and they could even be used to identify a particular person. There have been attempts at integrating biometric sensors into phone before, but usally it's not executed very well and/or requires the user to go through some hoopes to use it. All in all biometric sensors haven't been well received so far. What Apple seem to be talking baout here is a seamless experience that simply requires the user to pick up the phone as normal and it will identify the user as either its owner or someone else. Granted this is sitting at the patent stage, which isn't the same as saying this thing will be in the next iPhone, but even so it does sound pretty good.If they can get it to work at least if it got nicked it would be no good to the tea leaf,if it mesured my heart beat it would have a diccky fit:roflmao:
