With all this nonsense about all cable & dbox's going off I was wondering which box do I buy now, I have just moved to a house with a satellite receiver and so I thought I would get the D800HD or the 7025 but which is the best? how long will these boxes last? are there any reliable suppliers? is it easy to update? how often do I have to update the box? etc.

Its alot of money if I get conned by a supplier (had this before) or if I receive it will I get my moneys worth out of it?

All this nonsense as you put it is a sad fact of life!
ALL boxes are dieing like a fat man at a cannibals convention!
If you want SKY get a subscription to them, just look out for all their good offers. There is no point spending a load of money on a box for it to last just a couple of weeks!
A lot of people here are getting the VU+ Duo, but at ?399 I think it's too expensive if you just want to watch telly on it! :-?
The days of N3 are upon us, the providers will no longer put up with us getting freebies so the Pentagon level encryption is here to stay.
It is unlikely to be hacked in the short term. :trustme:
