hi m8 this works oh surfboards only well it works for the 4100 and 4200 models if you want it for another model just say an ill make you 1 m8 ;)

I cant get this to work, i followed the avi to the letter...ii have the modem plugged straight into the ethernet so no routers in way...i set up hyper terminal as shown and saved it the same as shown, when i run bootserver hyper terminal just sits there counting away the minutes, nothing happens...my firmware is exactly the same as shown (locked)

forget that...i went straight to avi, no mention of the 232 cable DOH!

This vid was done by me ,, now if you had bothered to read the haynes manual or any info regarding cable modification as well as simple networking you would of realized that there is a com1 setting in h/term therefore there must be another attachment (max 232/233) . this was not done with a hand held cam therefore it is impossable to show the connection to it, this was only compiled so that people who have read the tutorial will have a visual aid as to the process.
