you need to modify the squashfs on a linux distro.

you won't need one when I post my rudbox mod, it boots to TV in 3-4 secs.

Hi everyone, I'm running neutrino dream plus 0.9 and would like to change the boot logo, so wondered if anyone had any news on how to do this yet ?

The thread seems to have died a year ago !

I dont know much about that image but in DW1.65 its in /var/bin/ called dw-01.m1v . You can delete it to remove or replace it with your own pic. Have a look it might be in var bin!

Thanks for the reply, but thats an enigma image and the one I am trying to alter is a neutrino.

Everything regarding boot logo's seems to be aimed at enigma images for the dreambox so perhaps its not possible.

Changed a boot logo on a dbox before running on a neutrino system.

/var/tuxbox/boot cant remember what the files called, look in there for something called boot it might be a raw file. Or ask one the dbox guys, long time scince i used neutrino, enigma has over taken over it on the dreambox. Its possible because i think i have seen it before!

Very true, thats how you would do it on a dbox, but the dreambox doesn't have the /boot path, well not in the neutrino image I have !

You must have to enter the image before it is compiled.
