FULL SOURCE CODE FOR IMAGE DEVELOPERS IS INCLUDED IN THIS ZIP FILE, RELEASED UNDER THE GNU LICENSE. IT CAN BE MODIFIED AND RELEASED FREELY, PROVIDING THAT THE NEW SOURCE CODE IS PROVIDED.

This is a package brought to you by TEAM OXYGEN, a small group of trainee developers which I am leading to bring you the next generation of DBOX2 Image Creators and Modders.

Behold the teams first creation (01/01/2009) - a simple and re-created piece of work - revamped by popular demand. Team Oxygen present to you: THE PANIC BUTTON. All the features plus more, in only 16KB.

There are 2 programs within this package:

1. MAKEFTA - A standard program which can be run via telnet, a shellscript or via any other accessible command-line. Best suited for developers.

2. PANICBTN - A plugin that works with both Neutrino and Enigma, and can be added to any image by anyone with FTP knowledge.

To install the plugin:
FTP panicbtn.cfg and panicbtn.so to /var/tuxbox/plugins (or /lib/tuxbox/plugins, depending on your image). Make panicbtn.so CHMOD 755.
After this, either restart the box or choose "Reload plugins" from the Service Menu.

WHAT DOES THIS DO?
Both makefta and panicbtn will remove all keys, roms, softcams and all associated files from your image. Your services and bouquets will be completely destroyed and you will be left with a box that only displays FTA channels. Your services.xml is replaced with a copy that only contains the BBC and ITV freeview channels.

As such you should only use this plugin in an emergency. You will most likely have to reflash the image to restore previous functionality.
FOR YOUR INFORMATION: The plugin does NOT require MAKEFTA to be present in the image. The 2 files work independantly of each other.

DISCLAIMER: Team Oxygen do not condone the illegal reception of Cable TV. This plugin has been released through public demand, and does not aid in getting free TV - in fact, it does the opposite.
