Hi, ( info needed for COLLEGE )
I know that wiring lights downstairs in a domestic house is done by a " Radial Circuit "...
Can i wire it using a " Ring Circuit " according to the 17th Regs ???
Cheers !!!

studying on 2330 course, and they were talking about lights used for radial cct's, so i wondered if it is possible to place it in a ring and therefore have more lights. Is this allowed by the 17th regs?

why?
its a lighting cct, it only needs a small power handling capability & you don't want the extra expense of running a cable from the ceiling to the [furthest place from] consumer unit.

go on the wiki & do some reading up.

you wont learn by getting others to do you homework ...READ!

yes i'm a tutor!
