can someone point me in the direction of a cheap (but reasonable) router please?

basically, all I want to do is be able to network my pc & dbox with my cable modem. Not really interested in wireless or anything.

links would be fantastic (ebay?) or even just a description of what i'd need would be nice. i did try a cheapo hub a while ago and had no luck with it, PaphosAL said it's cos i need a WAN router, is that all i need to luck out for?

my current setup is simply 2 network cards in the PC, which works ok, but i want to be able to give the dbox internet access.

thanks in advance :)

Edit: Just re-read your message and see you're on cable.
A search on ebay for "broadband router" will yield plenty of results.
Or try broadbandbuyer dot co dot uk to get some specific models that you can search for on ebay.
From what I've seen on ebay there are a plethora of wireless routers available, you may be as well getting one of them and switching the wireless facility off.

thanks mate, just bought myself one of these: TRENDnet | Products | Wireless G Routers | TEW-432BRP (http://trendnet.com/products/proddetail.asp?prod=165_TEW-432BRP&cat=82)

was only cheap so not the end of the world if its the wrong one! lol.

hopefully it will be up to the job :)

give it a few days and no doubt i'll be back on here struggling to set it up :p
