Ive been reading that internet radio is probably better than DAB.

Has anyone used an internet radio? Any Comments?

Also I would like to know which model would be good to get!!

Thanks.

Just like to add that I bought myself an internet radio (Logik IR100).

Best radio ive ever bought, over 11000 stations to choose from, quality is amazing. All you need is a wireless connection.

Would definatly reccomend this if you are looking for a radio.

not sure about DAB as have never used it but by far the biggest site with links to all kinds of radio stations from all genres is Live365 Internet Radio - Thousands of Free Online Radio Stations (http://www.live365.com/index.live)

It doesn't use batteries? That's a bit of a shame.

Can anyone confirm that the IR100 can connect to a wireless network using WPA? I've read that some people had problems when they tried using it, and I don't want to have to drop to WEP security on my network for one device.

I had no problem at all to connect to a wireless network using WPA. The only problem with the IR100 it had a buzz at low volume.

The only issue i am having with my IR100 is sometimes it looses network connection. If anyone has any tips on how to improve wireless signal then please post.

Well i have a dab radio, and if i`m to be honest, not that inpressed with it .......... /:)
Now the internet radio systems i`ve not perosnaly used or tryed, but if i did get one i would throw our own radio frequency into it and listen, if its possable.
But on doing some reading it seems they are better than tha dab systems.

All the radio stations availible on internet radio can be found on the reciva website.

Main advantage of internet radio is 1000's of station to choose from, cd quality sound (depending on the station) and the track names will be displayed on the radio.

I would say if u will only be using it where you know you can access wi-fi then i would opt for internet if not then its probably safer to go with dab
